The Australian Government recently passed the Corporations Legislation Amendment (Simpler Regulatory System) Act 2007 which allows companies to provide their annual reports to shareholders through a website rather than in hard copy.

Australasian Mutuals Institute Ltd has elected to adopt the more timely, cost effective and environmentally friendly electronic distribution of annual reports.

Institute members were advised in December 2007, that unless they requested a printed copy, the annual report would be available online from our website at www.aminstitute.org.au

A printed copy of the 2009 annual report will now only be sent to members who have requested one.
